An IFrame (Inline Frame) is an HTML document embedded inside another HTML document on a website page. What would normally open in a new browser, opens inside the page the IFrame is placed.
AgentQuote created a method allowing you to embed the AQ2E Interactive Term Quote Engine Interactive Banner into an IFrame. The IFrame Java Script Code is generated the same time the regular Banner Java Script Code Snippet is created.
The main advantage of an Iframe is that it prevents the client from leaving the agent's website when a quote is generated. Some disadvantages are:
- A little more complex to set up than using a regular Interactive Banner Snippet.
- Even though the Quote Engine is Mobile friendly and totally responsive, the Quote Engine is best displayed in full screen mode. To accomplish this a large area on the Website page is needed. The minimum width for full display is 992 pixels.
